 Name of Post: Recruitment of 500 Assistants in the Class III cadre (NICL)

Summary: National Insurance Company Limited, India’s oldest and a leading public sector general insurance company, is inviting applications for the recruitment of 500 Assistants in the Class III cadre from the open market. The online registration begins on 24th October 2024 and will remain open until 11th November 2024. Applicants can pay the application fees from 24th October to 11th November 2024, inclusive. The Phase I online examination is scheduled for 30th November 2024, followed by Phase II on 28th December 2024.

  • SC/ST/PwBD/EXS: ₹100 (Intimation Charges only)
  • All other candidates: ₹850 (Application fee including Intimation Charges)
  • Age Limit:

    • Minimum Age: 21 years
    • Maximum Age: 30 years (as of 01.10.2024)
      Candidates born on or after 02.10.1994 and on or before 01.10.2003 are eligible to apply. The upper age limit is subject to relaxation as follows:

    Notes:

    1. Candidates eligible for multiple relaxation categories can combine age relaxations, but the total age must not exceed 45 years.
    2. Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit copies of necessary certificates and present the originals for verification during the Regional Language Test and/or any subsequent recruitment stages.

    Note for Ex-Servicemen:

    1. An Ex-Serviceman who has joined a government job on the civil side after using their benefits loses their Ex-Serviceman status for future government employment but remains eligible for age relaxation.
    2. An Ex-Serviceman applying for vacancies before civil employment can still claim reservation benefits for subsequent jobs, provided they submit a self-declaration to the new employer detailing previous applications made before starting civil employment. This benefit applies only to direct recruitment vacancies where Ex-Servicemen reservation is applicable.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as of 01.10.2024):

    Candidates must have a minimum of a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Proof of passing the qualifying examination is required by 01.10.2024.

    Additionally, candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State/UT for which they are applying. A Regional Language Test will be conducted to assess this proficiency, and candidates who do not pass will be disqualified.

    Note: Candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria, including age and educational qualifications, before applying. Ineligibility at any stage will result in cancellation of the candidature. Participation in the online examination and Regional Language Test does not guarantee selection for the position.
